Our Church

1989

Congregation Formation

Formation of the congregation under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Samuel K Mathew, named after St. Gregorios of Parumala.

1990

Appoints Vicar

Rev. Fr. George Paulose was appointed as the Vicar of the congregation by H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios. Holy Qurbana was conducted regularly at the parish hall of the Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church, Temple Terrace.

1994

Acquires land for the Church

Two acres of land with a building was purchased, and worship continued at this property.

1997

Builds a small Church

A small church was built on the purchased property and was consecrated by H.G. Mathews Mar Barnabas and H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios.

2004

Purchases bigger land

The church purchased five acres of land located on Jefferson Road.

2010

Lays foundation stone for the new church

The foundation stone for the new church on Jefferson Road was laid by H.G. Mathews Mar Barnabas.

2011

Groundbreaking Ceremony

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new church building on Jefferson Road.

2012

Consecration Ceremony

The consecration ceremony of the new church was conducted by H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius, H.G. Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, and H.G. Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios.

2014

Parish Hall

The new parish hall, named after H.G. Mathews Mar Barnabas, was consecrated by H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius.

2020

Vicar elevated to Cor Episcopos

Vicar Fr. George Paulose was elevated to the position of Cor Episcopos by H.G. Yuhanon Mar Meletius.

2023

Open-air granite Cross

The consecration of the monumental open-air granite Cross was held, officiated by H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Ivanios.

2024

CHURCH SECURITY ENHANCEMENT

Enhanced church security with a surrounding fence, gate, and 4K security cameras featuring motion detection and remote monitoring.
