Sunday School

In the Orthodox Church, Sunday School plays a vital role in the religious education and spiritual growth of children and young adults. Our curriculum is designed to help students not only understand but also embrace the Orthodox faith in their everyday lives. This year, 11 dedicated teachers are guiding these children on their faith journeys, encouraging them to live out their beliefs through prayer, worship, and meaningful discussions. During the 2023-2024 school year, students participated in the Centralized Written Exam, which assessed their knowledge of the Bible, key teachings, scripture, and traditions. They also took part in the Orthodox Vacation Bible Study (OVBS) program, centered around the theme from St. Luke 11:1, “Let Us Pray.” Through this program, participants learned that prayer provides hope, helps us achieve our goals, and offers protection in times of adversity. As we look ahead, Sunday School remains a place of growth, faith, and fellowship, where students continue to deepen their relationship with God and the Church community.
